The city reacts to NYPD deaths and rising violence | Kevin Sheehan: Urban Legend

The Post’s Kevin Sheehan looks at several disturbing stories of violence to hit New York City. A cold-blooded killing at Burger King in East Harlem barely got a reaction from readers, he noticed, amid bigger tragedies such as the fatal fire in the Bronx. “I guess this is how you’re dealing with it as a city. You’re just getting more and more numb,” he said.

This comes as two NYPD officers died after a shooting in Harlem. “The level of ferociousness of these attacks, the hate and the level of anger that’s going on, it’s definitely notching up. I’m watching it notch up in New York City,” Sheehan said. Find out more in this episode of “Urban Legend.”
