'Stupid son of a b***h!' Joe Biden lashes out after being asked about rising inflation

Joe Biden lashed out at Peter Doocy during a press conference after the Fox News reporter challenged the American President over inflation yesterday. Inflation has been on the rise throughout Biden’s time in office, increasing from 1.4 percent in January 2021 to 7 percent in December.

Mr Biden, who held the press conference after meeting with the White House Competition Council, was asked by Mr Doocy whether inflation could become a “political liability” for his party in the 2022 midterms.

Just as the press conference was about to come to a close and reporters were being ushered out of the room, Mr Doocy asked: “Will you take questions on inflation then?

“Do you think inflation is a political liability ahead of the midterms?”

Voices in the background could be heard saying “no, thank you” but the 46th President just smiled while the Fox News reporter quizzed him on his way out.

Mr Biden then responded by muttering: “That’s a great asset – more inflation.

“What a stupid son of a b***h.”

Biden’s predecessor, Donald Trump, was condemned when he called a journalist a “son of a b***h” back in 2018.

But now Mr Biden faces criticism for laying into Mr Doocy in the same way.

Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro, who has 3.7million Twitter followers, said: “Technically, the stupid son of a b***h is the guy who gave away Afghanistan to the Taliban, created runaway inflation, and called half the country racist to push a bill his own party couldn’t pass.”

Former GOP congressional candidate Buzz Patterson told his Twitter followers: “Our ‘healing’ president called Peter Doocy a ‘stupid son of a b***h’ today.

“Stay classy, White House.”

However, Mr Biden has had several mic-related cock-ups during his political career.

The 45th President has not yet confirmed whether he will run in the 2024 election race.

However, speaking to supporters in Florence, Arizona, Mr Trump said: “In 2024, we are going to take back the White House.

“We’re going to stage a comeback the likes of which nobody has ever seen.”

If Mr Trump was to mount a political comeback and win the next election he would become the first President since Grover Cleveland to serve two non-consecutive terms in the Oval Office.

Looking ahead to his rally in Conroe, Texas on Saturday, Mr Trump said: “Really big crowd expected in Texas this weekend.

“The rallies are bigger than ever before—so much to talk about!”
