Ozark season four is back on Netflix with its first segment and the new season marks the final instalment in the high-octane drama. It will see a definitive end for the Byrdes. Ozark actor Kevin L Johnson, who plays Sam Dermody, spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk about some shocking moments.
The season three finale left fans on the edge of their seats as one of the show’s biggest villains met her demise.
Wendy (played by Laura Linney) and Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) went to see Omar Navarro (Felix Solis) along with Helen Pierce (Janet McTeer).
In a shocking twist of events, Helen is shot and killed by a hitman, leaving Wendy and Marty covered in her blood.
Navarro then offered the Byrdes an opportunity to collaborate with him on his evil schemes.
Kevin L Johnson plays real estate agent Sam Dermody, who was arrested for assisting the Byrdes in season three.

At this moment in time, the release date for the second half is yet to be announced.
However, it is likely to air sometime in 2022, so fans shouldn’t have to wait too long.
Helen actress McTeer previously spoke out about her iconic death scene and how she felt.
She told Gold Derby: “I knew that one of the themes of the series is families and how they all deal with being members of the drug cartel or working for the drug cartel.
“To bring Helen’s family into it and to see how that would be to add that to the mix, that I knew was going to happen and I knew that myself and Wendy were going to become business partners and friends.
“How could that not be really good fun to do? It was a no-brainer, really. I had a wonderful time.”
