A radio caller has sparked a row on TalkRADIO with his support for Boris Johnson leading host Mike Graham to brand him an idiot. The row escalated when the man proceeded to accuse Mr Graham of behaving like anti-Brexiteer campaigner and LBC presenter James O’Brien.
Mr Graham began by telling John from Southampton: “Anybody with half a brain can see that Boris Johnson is a busted flush.
“He lies in order to stay where he is.
“He does whatever he can to stay where he is.
“He started talking about stopping the migrants from coming on board, he thought that would help him but he’s not doing that is he!?”
In response, John accused Mr Graham of acting like LBC host James O’Brien which sent the TalkRADIO presenter into a fury.
He blasted: “Don’t be so stupid John!
“Don’t be an absolute and utter idiot!
“I am not James O’Brien, I never will be James O’Brien, James O’Brien is not fit to lick my boots.”
Mr Johnson apologised last Wednesday for attending a “bring your own booze” party in the Downing Street garden in May 2020, when the rest of the country was in lockdown, sparking furious calls for him to resign.
So far seven MPs have publicly confirmed they have submitted letters of no confidence in Boris Johnson.
A total of 54 letters are needed to trigger a confidence vote.
However, only Sir Graham Brady, chair of the backbench Conservative 1922 Committee knows the exact number of submitted letters.
