Eamonn Holmes speaks out about replacing Simon McCoy on GB News' breakfast show

“I can’t see what Simon would be too worried about,” he shrugged.

GB News’ chief executive, Angelos Frangopoulos, described Simon as an “outstanding broadcaster” and told the Daily Telegraph: “We remain open to ways we can work with him again in future.”

Eamonn’s move comes after he was dropped from ITV after 15 years, when he and wife Ruth Langsford, were stripped from their weekly presentation duties last year.

While he wasn’t shocked with the decision that they were replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, he did admit he was given “no reason” as to why.
