Does sauerkraut help with weight loss?

A study in Korea looked at 21 patients who ate fresh and old kimchi (another pickled cabbage product), switching between the two.

Both types of kimchi led to a reduction in weight and waist circumference.

However, the fermented kimchi caused the most significant improvements.

Another weight loss expert suggested a diet plan with yoghurt for breakfast and salmon for dinner.

Clarissa is a nutritionist and a certified member of The British Association of Nutritionists.

For breakfast she suggested a bowl of live yogurt, a handful of berries, eight to 10 raw nuts, and a small cupped hand size of low sugar granola or muesli.

For dinner, the expert suggested fillet of salmon cooked in the oven served with steamed broccoli and half a sweet potato cooked in wedges.
