Peep! Peep! Peeeeeeeeep! It’s all over at the County Ground, where Manchester City have won at a canter but their League Two hosts can leave the field with their heads held high.

Far better teams than them have and will continue to be beaten by a lot more when pitted against Manchester City this season, although they will rue the mistakes which gifted their opponents their first two goals.
