Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland has reportedly been told by his club that he must decide his future by the end of January as speculation continues.
The Norway international, who has scored a staggering 76 goals in 74 games for the German club since moving from RB Salzburg in January 2020, has a £64million release clause which activates this summer.
Now, Spanish outlet Marca report that Haaland has been instructed by his club to make up his mind by the end of January, with a host of Europe’s top clubs interested in the 21-year-old.

The report adds that despite interest from the Premier League, the news has put Barcelona and Real Madrid on red alert amid the possibility of one of Europe’s biggest young stars becoming available this year.
Manchester United, City and Chelsea have also been linked with a big-money move for the Norwegian star.
A report from earlier in the week indicated that Premier League leaders City would reinvest the £55m gained from selling Ferran Torres to Barca into their efforts to sign Haaland.

Potential suitors will also have to splash out on the frontman’s sizeable wage demands.
At City, for instance, The Mirror state he would expect to earn more than Kevin De Bruyne, who makes £400,000 per week.
BILD have reported that Dortmund are looking to piece together a club-record financial package in a bid to convince him to stay, with talks set to get underway at the start of this month with agent Mino Raiola and his dad, Alf-Inge Haaland.

The outlet details that the Bundesliga outfit are willing to double their talisman’s annual salary to £13.4m-per-year, which equates to £260,000-per-week. He may also rake in up to £6.7m in bonuses from Puma, Dortmund’s manufacturer.
It was also said last month that Ralf Rangnick, United’s interim manager, has already spoken to Haaland’s father about a move to Old Trafford.
Raiola, meanwhile, insisted at the end of December that no pre-contract has been agreed with any club as of yet – and also refused to rule out his client staying at Dortmund.
