PS5 stock update: Incredibly, the PlayStation 5 is STILL available to buy at GAME

Express.co.uk was able to successfully add the bundles to the shopping cart on the GAME website and head to the checkout screen this morning.

GAME restricts PS5 console purchases to one per customer so you’ll only be able to choose one of the in-stock bundles.

When the latest GAME PS5 restock first went live there were dozens of different purchase options available, with standalone PS5 consoles as well as bundles available.

Since then the amount of PS5 purchase options has slowly been whittled down as orders came in and stock went.

But still this is a record-breaking PS5 drop, with this restock lasting longer than any other since the PlayStation 5 console first launched in November 2021.

Hopefully this plentiful restock is a good sign that Sony are getting more units into retailers hands at the moment, which – if that’s the case – will hopefully mean 2022 will be the year where the PS5 becomes more readily available to buy.

We’ll have to wait and see whether that ends up happening, but with the incredible selection of games launching on the PS5 in 2022 demand is surely set to surge.

High-profile releases pencilled in for the PS5 in 2022 include Horizon Forbidden West in February, Gran Turismo 7 in March, new Square Enix IP Forspoken in May and – at some point this year – God of War Ragnarok.

Elsewhere, this spring JRPG fans will find out more about Final Fantasy 16 – the highly anticipated new entry in the iconic Japanese role-playing series, which is a PS5 exclusive.

Other PS5 games coming out in 2022 include Babylon’s Fall, GhostWire Tokyo, Sifu, unique cat-sim Stray and Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection.

While, in terms of high-profile multiplatform releases, PS5 gamers will also be able to enjoy games such as Elden Ring, Gotham Knights, Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League, Rainbow Six Extraction, Saints Row, Dying Light 2 and exciting free-to-play game Arc Raiders, among other titles.
