Amanda Kloots talks ‘honesty and ease’ of dinner with Michael Allio

Could love be in the air?

“The Talk” co-host Amanda Kloots is opening up about the “honesty and ease” of her recent dinner with “Bachelorette” alum Michael Allio.

“People in our lives kept telling us both that we should meet based on how much we have in common. So we eventually started connecting over social media,” Kloots, 39, told Us Weekly on Thursday.

“When you are a widow and single parent, it is so wonderful to meet people that are in your same boat. It makes you feel less alone.”

The dancer’s late husband, Nick Cordero, died at age 41 in July 2020 from COVID-19 complications, while the onetime “Bachelor” front-runner, 37, lost his 33-year-old wife, Laura Ritter-Allio, to cancer in January 2019.

“We could have chatted for days,” Kloots said of Allio, adding that it felt like they had “been friends for years.”

“There is an immediate honesty and ease when you’ve been through trauma like we have,” she continued. “We are both from Ohio, have little boys and [have] been through a very hard time in life. We have each other’s back.”

Kloots shared a cozy, headline-making photo of herself and Allio to Instagram on Monday.

“Finally met this guy in person after being Instagram friends for a year!! Lots of fried food, drinks, great chats and laughs!” she captioned the post.

Allio reposted the former Rockette’s photo on his Instagram Story and wrote, “Just two kids from Akron.”

While it seems the two are just friends, Kloots revealed that she is ready to start dating again and would “never say never” to finding love on the “Bachelor” franchise.

“I would love to have some love back in my life,” she said. “I’ve learned to never say never.”
