Jamie Redknapp scolds mum Sandra for sharing pic with baby son after booze-fuelled evening

Jamie Redknapp, who welcomed the latest addition to his family with his wife Frida Andersson last month, has been gushing about his offspring on social media ever since.

But it was his mother, Sandra Redknapp, who may have gotten a little too excited when she posted a snap of her son with her grandson Raphael following a booze-fuelled Christmas dinner.

The two, alongside Jamie’s wife and dad, Harry Redknapp, celebrated the festive occasion together.

On Tuesday, Sandra shared a photo from the get-together with her 76,000 followers, which she captioned with three heart emojis.

Fans gushed over the photo of the doting father-son duo, but Jamie seemed less than impressed.

“Mum please ask for permission to put pics up in future that was after a lot of [wine] and not sure Raphael is too happy with it either,” he jokingly wrote in the comment section.

@AngieCroker7634 reacted to Jamie’s comment, responding: “Ha ha so all sons are the same. mum why did you put that photo up!! cause mums can and it’s a lovely photo xx.”

Another fan @phillio74 joked: “You’ll be 63 when he’s 15. Hope he doesn’t ask you to participate in the fathers race.”

Others were in awe of how much little Raphael resembled his grandfather, with one user @day_hules commenting: “Looks like his Grandad but much cuter xx.”

Jamie shares two children from his 19-year marriage with his ex-wife Louise Redknapp: Charles, 17, and Beau, 13.

In October, the former athlete surprised fans when he married Frida in a secret wedding ceremony, just weeks before she was due to give birth to their son.

Their vows were exchanged at the Chelsea Registry Office in front of close friends and family members.

“I have my two gorgeous boys that I adore more than anything in the world, the best family around me and I’m having the time of my life with my career and with the most wonderful friends that a girl could hope for.”

With Jamie tying the knot and welcoming his first child, Louise previously told Fabulous magazine how her boys were encouraging her to start dating again.

Her teen sons are said to have pushed their mum to get her groove back, though the latter said she was not necessarily looking to find love anytime soon.

Instead, Louise wants her singing career to remain her main priority for now.

“They always say ‘When are you going to [date]?’” she admitted.

“All my boys care about is me being happy – whatever that is.”
