Stacey Solomon inundated with support over family heartache as dog Theo dies ‘in our arms'

Stacey Solomon, 32, has been inundated with supportive messages from some of her 4.9 million Instagram followers after opening up on a devastating loss. The mum-of-four shared a gallery of family photos featuring her beloved dog Theo and her eldest children Zachary, 13, Leighton, nine, and Rex, two, snuggling up to her, while sharing the news that her pet had sadly died on Boxing Day.

Stacey, who recently welcomed her new baby daughter, Rose, with fiance Joe Swash, penned:Sweet Dreams Theo.

“The best friend we could have ever wished for. Our hearts are broken. 

“Yesterday at home in our arms we had to say goodnight to our Theo. 11 wonderful years. We were so lucky to love you Fifi and we will never stop. 

“My lap has never felt so empty I miss you so much already.

Nadia Sawalha added: “Oh Stacey I’m so sorry darling xxx.”

Stacey went on to share further details on her Instagram Stories, writing alongside a black and white photo of herself cuddling Theo in a blanket, accompanied by her sausage dog Peanut: “On Boxing Day morning… Our beautiful Theo, passed away.

“She fell asleep in my arms surrounded by all of us at pickle cottage. For 11 wonderful years we were so lucky to love her.

“Our hearts are utterly broken. She was just the best dog in the world who adored the boys and Rose. I can’t even begin to explain how lost I feel without her.” with a black heart emoji.

“I am so lost. Even going to the toilet and not having you at my feet,” she added in a caption written over videos of Theo.

“The doorbell goes and there’s no bark I climbed into bed for the first time in 11 years and you weren’t jumping in with me.

“I’m so lost without you theo,” she concluded with a red heart emoji.
