Don't miss these Sky freebies TODAY: Sky Q, Sky Glass, broadband, mobile treats available

Sky is getting into the Christmas spirit by launching tonnes of free bonuses over the festive period. The freebies are available to all Sky customers, so Sky Glass, Sky Q, Sky broadband and Sky mobile will all get an extra free bonus to play with. If you’re a Sky Q or Sky Glass customer, then you can download a free movie to watch on Christmas Day with the whole family.

This free movie that’s available to Sky TV customers is Sing – the hit 2016 animated movie from the makers of the Despicable Me and Minions films.

To add Sing to your Sky Q or Sky Glass library, simply use your remote to look up Sing in the search bar or in voice search and it will come up.

Once you’ve redeemed it you will be able to download and keep Sing on your Sky Q box or Sky Glass telly, so you can watch it as many times as you want.

Sing has become a free download ahead of Sing 2 heading to UK cinemas next year, and to celebrate the release of the Sky Christmas advert – which features the Sing cast and was made by Sing director Garth Jennings.

The A-list Hollywood stars that lent their voices for the Sky Christmas ad include Scarlett Johansson, Reece Witherspoon and Taron Egerton.

Besides the free Sing download, there’s a host of other freebies Sky customers can enjoy over the Christmas period.

On Christmas Day itself, Sky Talk customers will be given a helping hand to connect with loved ones far away, as free calls to UK and international landlines and mobiles will be available all day long.

If you’re a Sky Mobile customer on Christmas Day and Boxing Day you’ll get free mobile data, no matter what plan you’re on. So you can have as many video calls as you want without having to worry about hitting your data limit.

While there aren’t any specific broadband freebies, Sky broadband packages are bundled with TV plans. And there are plenty of freebies for Sky TV users.

Besides the Sing download, Sky Q and Sky Glass users will have some other unmissable bonuses.

If you’re looking to watch some footie on Boxing Day then you’ll be able to watch a trio of matches that usually are shown on the paid-for Sky Sports channels on Sky Showcase instead.

These games are St Johnstone vs Celtic (12.30pm) in the Scottish Premiership, Barnsley vs Stoke City (3pm) and Aston Villa vs Chelsea (5.30pm).

On Monday December 27 there will be more live sports as well, with Sky Showcase showing all the action from the PDC World Darts Championships.

If instead, you’re looking for a movie to watch over the Christmas period then you’ll have a number of other options besides Sing.

On Monday December 27 and Tuesday December 28 Sky Showcase will be showing Sky Originals films you’d usually find on the paid-for Sky Cinema channels.

These films are the comedy movie Blithe Spirit, Riverdance: The Animated Adventure, SAS: Red Notice and the Academy Award winning Promising Young Woman.
