Galaxy S21: Why now is a very good (and very bad) time to buy the latest flagship Samsung

There’s no doubt that Samsung’s Galaxy S21 is one of the best phones of 2021. This device, which launched all the way back in February, features a fast processor, cracking camera, stunning screen with a super-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, plus all-day battery life with fast and wireless charging. There was also a big design refresh when the Galaxy S21 landed, with striking new colours and a glossy camera bump that now blends seamlessly into the case compared to the older Galaxy S20.

However, while it might be a brilliant time for bargain-hunters to bag a Galaxy S21, those who always want the latest-and-greatest gadgets might want to steer clear. That’s because rumours are rife that Samsung is gearing up to lift the lid on its new Galaxy S22 smartphone, which could include some major improvements.

Of course, there’s no official confirmation about this upcoming launch although Samsung has revealed that it will be holding a major event next month at CES in Las Vegas, where it could reveal some new devices.

This showcase is kicking off on January 4 under the bright lights of Sin City and we might get a glimpse of what’s to come from the ingenious smartphone team at Samsung.

If the Galaxy S22 is unveiled, expect a tweaked industrial design, a more powerful processor, improved cameras, and longer-lasting battery.

Some rumours are even suggesting that one model of the Galaxy S22 will feature a slot for the famous S Pen stylus, while another whisper says that Samsung will bring rapid charging to this device which power things from flat-to-full in a matter of minutes.

Hopefully, all will be revealed soon, so watch this space!
