EastEnders heartbreak as Zack Hudson exits after murdering Sharon Watts?

Zack (played by James Farrar) has never been too far away from trouble since he was introduced into the world of EastEnders last year. As well as having relationship dilemmas, he has also tried to get to know his sister Sharon (Letitia Dean) following the death of their father, Gavin Sullivan (Paul Nicholas). However, his interfering in her life has led to unwarranted consequences in recent episodes of the BBC soap and it seems as their feud reaches new heights, he could end up murdering his sibling. To avoid being captured by the police, he could make a swift exit and leave the residents of Walford to pick up the pieces of the stalwart’s death.

A few months ago, Sharon discovered she had a granddaughter called Alyssa, who was the result of an affair her son Denny Rickman (Bleu Landau) had with Jada Lennox (Kelsey Calladine-Smith).

The young mother was unable to cope with looking after the toddler and so left her with Sharon to bring up as she knew the iconic character could give the baby a life she couldn’t.

When Sharon tried to apply for full custody of the little girl, Zack told Jada all about her sister’s plans and the mother of one ran away with her daughter.

This left the legendary Walford resident devastated as she thought she would never get to see her granddaughter again, not realising the part her brother played in the disappearance.

When she learnt the truth in Tuesday’s episode, she was left furious and told her sibling they would never be family, which could prompt him to turn on her.

Although Zack tried to keep his betrayal from Sharon, she learnt the truth when Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) private investigator got some intel.

The gangster explained the PI has made contact with Jada’s father and he had said Zack played a part in his daughter disappearing.

Zack pleaded with his sister to give him another chance but she wasn’t having any of it as she felt she had lost Denny all over again.

Telling him what she thought of him, the iconic character said: “You know what? I don’t think you’re family at all.

“You are Gavin, through and through. You are exactly like him…you do not betray family,” the mother of two furiously raged.

Of course, this isn’t what Zack would have wanted as he knows baby Albie would be growing up without a father or a mother.

With little evidence to suggest there was a fight, the heartthrob of Walford could make a run for it, believing he could still get away with killing his sister.

He would leave it up to Martin Fowler (James Bye) to find Sharon’s body and contact the police to inform them someone has murdered her.

An investigation would begin and knowing they would come to find him as he had recently had a falling out with his sister, Zack would know he would have to escape.

This would bring an end to his time on the Square in the most heartbreaking way but will he be able to live with the guilt of murdering the iconic character?

Taking to Twitter, viewers have commented on the siblings’ feud, with Andreas writing: “Seriously, why has Sharon push Zack away?

“Hasn’t she suffered enough!?! She needs her brother by her side! #EastEnders I’m so sick of this! I hope they mend their relationship by Christmas. I don’t care for her and Phil. She’ll only be a doormat- again.”

Ryan added: “Sharon was slightly harsh to Zack there. He ain’t like Gavin at all.”

Dee commented on the social media platform: “That was harsh on Zack. Sharon should know better, Jada is still the baby’s mother. I don’t like Sharon when Phil has been in her ear #EastEnders.”

Becca posted: “I know what Zack did wasn’t great. But Sharon and Phil decided to go in all guns blazing. All because Phil put doubts in Sharon’s head. Jada would have run eventually when she found out. #EastEnders.”

Following the news the actor who plays Zack, James had landed the part, it was teased he would bring a lot of trouble to Walford.

Describing his character, James explained: “Zack certainly has a very complicated past and there is a real depth to him that I can’t wait to explore.”

Executive producer Jon Sen added: “There’s plenty of drama in store for him – trouble is always just around the corner.”

With all these hints, could it be possible he was brought in to murder Sharon all along or will he manage to repair his relationship with his sister?

EastEnders continues Thursday at 8:05pm on BBC One.
