Former Countryfile presenter Julia Bradbury, 51, has taken to Twitter to give her 156,000 followers an update on her battle with breast cancer after attending a medical appointment yesterday. The brave star has been aiming to raise awareness of symptoms and warning signs to look out for since she was diagnosed in September this year.
It wasn’t long before her latest post was inundated with grateful responses from fans, as she highlighted an important issue for fellow cancer patients.
Julia shared a selfie while waiting to see her doctor.
The star could be seen wearing a cosy grey jumper and a blue face mask in the snap.
She wrote alongside it: “Another day,another medical appt.

Tony’s tweet wrote: “Yes. Sound advice. My wife was admitted to hospital on 11th Oct.She has now been diagnosed with CNS brain cancer/lymphoma. I can’t visit,understandably. I phone every other day. NHS staff wonderful and I wrote everything I’m told tho still forget. Lots to take in.2nd chemo cycle.”
Graham Gough replied: “Excellent advice Julia. Good luck.”
Celia Bierd responded: “Such good advice. I totally agree and wish I had this support.”
Julia, who is recovering from a mastectomy, also recently shared a moving update of her hugging her children.
