Simon Gregson sparks This Morning chaos with 'cow vagina' remark: 'Came as it came'

Vernon even put his head in his hands when the soap star spoke about eating a cow’s vagina.

Discussing eating a plain diet of rice and beans, Simon told the hosts: “It got to day three or four and I was actually looking forward to eating rice and beans for breakfast which was really weird.”

Recalling one of the gruesome trials, Simon continued: “The one thing I never thought I’d be looking forward to eating was a hairy vagina.”

Josie shrieked and laughed, as the actor said: “I mean who looks forward to that?”

Vernon looked at his watch as Simon added: “It turns out I had the largest vagina on normal TV to eat.”

“It’s five past 10 everyone, come on,” Vernon chipped in as he tried to change the subject.

But his co-host only added to the mayhem with a rather graphic line of questioning.

“The thing was it actually did look like a cow’s vagina,” Josie chipped in as Vernon put his head in his hands.

Simon joked: “Are we going straight to an advert now?”

Viewers took to social media following the segment, and while some found the “vagina” remark hilarious, others were left horrified.

“Simon Gregson discussing cow vagina in great detail on #ThisMorning,” Steph said.

Mel tweeted: “One of the best interviews yet. Simon is great. Must’ve been celebrating all night.”

Ness praised: “Simon is on fire. Love Josie and Vernon.”

While Steph added: “This interview was amazing. Simon, you absolutely legend.”

Mike joked: “Simon Gregson just casually talking about vaginas at 10am.”

However, slamming Simon’s remark, Dee went on to point out: “How many times do you have to say the word vagina? I find this very degrading to us females.”

“Listening to people discussing cow’s vaginas while I’m eating my breakfast, is not my idea of a good time,” Sean raged.

As Rob tweeted: “Not cow’s vagina again.”

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
