The pandemic has taken its toll on TV production across the globe and restrictions have impacted filming.
While some fans were sad to learn of the shorter season, Pastimeofmine said on Reddit: “I actually feel like that’s a pretty small amount to lose on a tricky and years delayed filming schedule during covid. I’m pretty happy with nine.”
Shindigmachine added: “Yeah I thought it was gonna be eight (from rumours on here) so this is a pleasant surprise.”
