World's richest man Elon Musk 'thinking of quitting all jobs' to become an 'influencer'

Musk, currently the world’s richest man founded Tesla in 2003 and is CEO of the company at present. But in a surprise tweet, Mr Musk has suggested he may change his career path to become an influencer. The Space X founder tweeted: “Thinking of quitting my jobs & becoming an influencer full-time, what do you think?”

Musk is known to be very vocal on Twitter, with a following of 65.8 million people.

In March 2020, he earned the title of world’s richest man – taking over from Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

It is estimated that Musk has a net worth of $270 billion.

In 1999, Musk founded the online bank X.com, which later merged with Confinity in 2000.

After merging together, a new company was formed named PayPal – which was later bought by eBay for $1.5 billion in 2002.

In the same year, Musk founded the company SpaceX, an aerospace manufacturer and space transport services company.

At present, South African is CEO and CTO of the company.

Musk is also currently the CEO of Tesla Inc. after almost two decades with the company.

Originally, the billionaire joined electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla Motors, Inc. as chairman and product architect.

However, in 2008, Musk was promoted to CEO of the company.

Mr. Beast, one of the fastest-growing YouTubers and a stalwart of the industry, offered his support to Mr Musk.

He tweeted: “I’ll coach you on how to get YouTube views!”

Vikkstar, member of the famous YouTube group ‘The Sidemen’, suggested a video idea with the Tesla founder.

He tweeted: “Crossbar challenge with the boys?”

Streamer Stable Ronaldo tweeted: “Elon you be playing Fortnite or what’s up?”

Streamer Eret asked: “Hey Elon, wanna play Minecraft some time?”

The billionaire is active on Twitter and recently called upon new laws to be in place which would mean anyone under 70 would be unable to run for Presidency – in what seemed like an apparent dig at President Joe Biden.

He tweeted: “Let’s set an age limit after which you can’t run for political office, perhaps a number just below 70…”
