Will Forte reveals he wed his fiancée Olivia Modling five months after welcoming their daughter Zoe: ‘It was just a delightful day!’

Five-time Emmy nominee Will Forte just revealed he wed his fiancée Olivia Modling in a small surprise ceremony in New Mexico back on July 31 following a year-and-a-half engagement.

The 51-year-old NoCal native and the University of Alabama grad tied the knot in the back of his fellow MacGruber creator Jorma Taccone’s house in Albuquerque.

‘We just decided very last minute, “Let’s just have this wedding, surprise my parents,”‘ Will told People on Wednesday.

‘They didn’t even know until they pulled into the parking lot. And we just had this really fun, delightful wedding. It was just a delightful day. My parents were totally surprised. It was so stressful, the two weeks where we were planning. I can’t imagine having a year or more to stew over wedding plans.’

The nuptials came five months after Forte and Modling – who began dating in 2018 – welcomed their first child, 10-month-old daughter Zoe Douglas.

The family-of-three share a $6.2M three-bedroom home in Carmel Highlands near Monterey, CA.

‘It’s fun to say, “wife,”‘ the Independent Spirit Award nominee gushed.

‘I’ve never worn any jewelry in my life and it’s fun to wear a wedding ring. It already felt like we were married before. It doesn’t feel a lot different, but it’s still fun and exciting to say, “wife.”

‘She’s great. I needed to find somebody who was a very patient person and she’s the most patient, understanding woman in the world. I’m feeling very happy and very lucky these days.’

Will (born Orville Willis Forte IV) was previously in a five-month romance with his Last Man on Earth co-star January Jones, which ended in 2015.
