Brahma Mishra dead: Mirzapur actor found dead at home aged 36 after health issues

Brahma Mishra has died at the age of 36.

The actor’s semi-decomposed body was found in his flat yesterday evening, according to reports.

He complained a few days ago of chest pains and received medication from his doctor, but unfortunately it was unable to save him, as his health degenerated.

He was tragically found dead after his neighbours reported an unpleasant odor coming out of his place of residence.

Doctors had initially thought that the Mirzapur actor’s painful symptoms were down to indigestion.

However, it emerged that his chest pains were a warning sign of a more serious health problem.

Brahma had been living alone in a self-contained Mumbai apartment for the past four years, so his body was not immediately discovered.

After neighbours complained about a smell, police found that the flat was locked from the inside and were forced to make an emergency call to a locksmith to gain entry.

Once inside, the tragic star was discovered semi-nude and no longer breathing in his bathroom.

His fellow acting colleague Divyenndu, who played Munna Bhaiya in Mirzapur, posted a photo on Instagram in his honour.

Gurmmeet Singh, who co-directed the Amazon Prime Video show, has acknowledged: “He brought a smile to a million faces. He will be missed. RIP Bramha Mishra.”

Meanwhile, Gully Boy actor Vijay Varma offered few words, but left followers in no doubt as to how he felt about the tragedy, simply posting the word “No” alongside a heartbreak emoji.

The acclaimed actor is famed for his work on movies such as Manjhi: The Mountain Man, Dangal, Haseen Dillruba, Chor Chor Super Chor and Kesari.

However it is the series Mirzapur which has had fans of the Indian film industry raving about his performances.
