Roy Keane has criticised Chelsea for showing “arrogance” in the 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday. Keane claimed he predicted the only way United would score would be through over-confidence at the back from Thomas Tuchel’s side. The Red Devils took the lead five minutes after half time following a mistake from Jorginho.
“We controlled the counter-attacks and we were brave. They defended deep and maybe you need the first goal.
“If you don’t you always run a bit behind because you feel that you’re the stronger team.
“We had big chances we should have used but were generally really happy because I like the way we played.
“I was happy with our aggression and rhythm, we defended with intensity.
“I was a bit surprised with so many high ball recoveries. We didn’t make the most out of clear chances but we were consistently producing.”
