The teenage comedy followed Ginny (Antonia Gentry), a free-spirited mother and her two children Georgia (Brianne Howe) and Austin (Diesel La Torraca) as they relocated to New England for a fresh start.

As the season progressed viewers got an insight into the cracks in the mother and daughter relationship.

The 30-year-old single mother was cunning while her 15-year-old daughter felt alienated in the town and often more mature than her mother.

However, a huge fallout occurred when Ginny discovered her mother’s murderous past, which was the real reason they were on the run.

Speaking on their relationship in season two, the actor told OK magazine he hoped they could make it down the aisle: “I think that they can, and I think that they will.”

Scott continued: “What I am worried about is whether Paul makes it out the other side because all the people that have actually been married to Georgia, things don’t end well, so we will have to see what happens.”

“I really do think they have what it takes to actually get married and give this a real go, whether or not it works out in the end, we will have to wait and see,” he concluded.

The actor also shared an interest in delving into his character’s past and home life.

Other fans including Megan who shared: “Ooooh. Can’t wait after that cliffhanger!!!” also expressed their excitement in Scott’s comments.

MoonYashi added: “I don’t know if I’m screaming or crying, YES YES YES I am so so so happy! S2 let’s go !!!!!”

Krissy_Delacey commented: “I’m so incredibly happy to see this!!!!”
