Club World Cup draw in full as Chelsea learn opponents ahead of fixture changes

Chelsea will play the winner of Al Hilal vs Al Jazira or Auckland City in the semi-final of the Club World Cup. The Blues have qualified for the tournament, which the UAE will host in February, thanks to their stunning Champions League success.

Kai Havertz’s goal against Manchester City earned Chelsea their second Champions League triumph. They now hope to go one better than they did last time by winning the Club World Cup.

Al Jazira will face Auckland City in the tournament’s opening game.

The winner of that will compete with Al Hilal for the chance to play Thomas Tuchel’s side in the semi-final.

In the other half of the draw, Palmeiras await the winner of Al Ahly’s tie with Monterrey.

The competition takes place between February 3-12, meaning crunch Premier League fixtures with Arsenal and Brighton must be rearranged.
