PS5 UK restock: GAME, Argos and Amazon PlayStation 5 stock updates

The final PS5 restock for November has been revealed, and more PlayStation 5 stock is expected from retailers like Argos, Amazon and Currys during December 2021.

Sony has been busy over the past month providing new consoles via its PlayStation Direct website.

And while more is expected from the tech giant, it won’t be available for everyone to use and buy.

But the good news is that we already know what is coming next and which retailer will be offering PS5 stock next on a large scale.

And most of the biggest UK retailers are expected to offer restocks during December, including Argos, GAME, Currys and Amazon.

But for now, we only know of one that is scheduled to happen later this week from GAME.

The news has been shared by PS5 Stock UK – a reliable stock tracker account on Twitter – which is known for providing the best guides on what’s happening next.

The news was shared during the weekend and confirmed that GAME will be one of the final restocks of the month.

This is expected to happen between 8am and 1pm GMT, and will likely happen on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

There is a chance of delays but so far this is the only confirmed stock update being reported for the coming days.

The message posted on Twitter by PS5 Stock UK reads: “GAME has updated its PS5 release date to 9/12.

“Stock Checker can see that Priority Insured deliveries will be shipped by 3/12, with all other deliveries shipped by 9/12. This indicates a possible stock drop on 30/11.”

Other retailers are expected to drop shipments for the PlayStation 5 before the end of the year, but it’s unclear what dates this could happen on.

Knowing when a PS5 restock is happening can be vital, but it’s also worth knowing how each retailer handles its shipments.

And here are a few examples of how best to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:

ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and being unable to complete purchases when site traffic is high. Stock trackers suggest using the mobile Argos app and keeping an eye on local store listings.

AMAZON UK: Amazon UK runs better under strain but still comes with a few kinks worth mentioning. Having an account set up with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wishlist before checking out.

CURRYS: Currys does not host purely digital restock events and there has been no indication when they might offer more consoles online. The retailer chooses to sell the PlayStation 5 via its brick and mortar stores via a ticketing system. Those interested must sign up on the Currys PS5 page to have the chance of being selected, which will then be followed by waiting until the next shipment of consoles arrives.

GAME: GAME is a UK retailer that offers the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout, as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase. The next PS5 restock at GAME is expected to happen on November 30, or early in December 2021.
