Tori Spelling tried to clear up speculation about why her husband Dean McDermott had missed out on their family holiday card shoot on Monday.
The 48-year-old Beverly Hills, 90210 star claimed in the comments of her Dean-free family photo that her husband had been out of the country while working on film role.
Dean’s absence from the family holiday card marks his second time missing the shoot, as he was also absent from the couple’s 2020 card due to another work shoot.

Tori had the urge to clear up the confusion about Dean’s whereabouts after one person seemed to imply that he was missing from the photo because of their alleged marital problems.
‘Dean must be “working” out of town and couldn’t get home in time for the annual Christmas picture,’ the user wrote, along with a winking emoji to indicate their sarcasm.
But they were right on the mark as far as the actress was concerned.
‘Fact: @imdeanmcdermott was filming his new feature film in Canada,’ she replied, topping off her post with a Canadian flag emoji.
Although she wrote that Dean was away on a project, he doesn’t appear to have shared what that feature film is on his own social media accounts, and his IMDB page doesn’t list any films in the works, though the service is not always reliable.

Under wraps? However, Dean doesn’t appear to have post about his new project, and there are no in-progress films listed on his IMDB page; seen together in 2019 in Culver City, Calif.
In her newest holiday card, Tori was surrounded by her five children: sons Liam, 14, Finn, nine, and Beau, four, and daughters Stella, 13, and Hattie, 10.
The post was an ad, with the star writing in her caption that the company that created the holiday card helped bring ‘our happy family to life on my favorite holiday card yet.’
Tori was seen rocking an off-the-shoulder dress with brown boots and white socks that reached her knees.
She posed with a rooster in her arms surrounded by her children and various farm animals.
The actress signed it: ‘Happy Holidays with love, from our farm to your home! xoxo, Tori & Family.’

Fans noted Dean’s absence and wonder why he hadn’t even been included in the card’s text, unlike last year.
The 2020 card included his name among the family and added a parenthetical ‘hello, from Canada,’ while the newest card was only credited to ‘Tori & Family.’
The photo comes five months after the couple sparked rumors of a split after they were seen sans wedding rings, according to US Weekly.
Soon after, Tori revealed during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live that they are not sleeping in the same bed.
She said: ‘You know what? Right now, my kids and dogs sleep in my bed’ while Dean sleeps ‘in a room’ at their house after he was gone filming a project for half of the year.
Tori added: ‘Since he left — this is not good guys — but since he left [and] he was gone for six months filming in another country, they all stayed with me. So I currently have four in the bedroom with me who have yet to go back to their rooms.’
A source recently spoke to UsWeekly and told the media outlet that Spelling was unsure about her marital situation.

The insider pointed out that, although the actress was feeling ‘miserable,’ she has remained married to McDermott ‘for the kids.’
Spelling has been tight-lipped about her marital situation and has refused to provide solid answers regarding her future with her husband.
Tori and Dean, 55, wed in 2006; prior to their marriage, she was wed to Charlie Shanian.
