I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! contestant David Ginola talked about his heart attack on last night’s show
The football legend opened up about his near-death experience with the rest of his campmates after being asked about it by Naughty Boy.
Speaking on the show last night about his cardiac arrest David said: “I passed away for 12 minutes.
“I was just playing football and at one stage you just fell on the floor. So they had to perform CPR for 12 minutes.
“They arrived with the defibrillator and they shocked me one time, two times, three times.
“They said no, I think your friend is dead. They did it a fourth and a fifth time and on the fifth time they said oh I have a heartbeat.”
David is currently in the clink of the castle with Richard Madeley, Danny Miller, Dame Arlene Phillips and Naughty Boy after their team lost out on the keys to the castle in the first episode.
