One dead, two injured in Southern California mall shooting

Three people were shot, one fatally, at a Southern California mall Friday night, according to reports.

Shots were reported at 7:51 p.m. at the shopping center in Victorville, according to the Victor Valley News Group.

EMTs performed CPR on an unresponsive black male outside a Red Robin, before pronouncing him dead at the scene, the outlet reported.

One of the survivors was eight years old and had to be flown from a local hospital to a larger medical center, the Victorville Daily Press reported.

The investigation is ongoing, with no arrests so far, the paper reported.
