Queen stuns in multicolour dress in first public appearance since back injury

The Queen was seen standing and smiling at Windsor Castle after missing the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph.

This is remarkable seeing as royal fans were told the monarch had sprained her back so could not attend the service on November 14.

Doctors previously advised her to rest for an unrelated health matter, leading to the cancellation of a planned appearance at the Festival of Remembrance on Saturday November 13.

It came after the Queen had an overnight stay at the King Edward VII Hospital in central London on October 20 – her first in eight years.
