GameStop is giving out free Shiny Zacian and Shiny Zamazenta codes for Pokemon Sword and Shield.

GameStop is giving out another free Shiny Pokemon for Pokemon Sword and Shield. Until Nov. 26, players across the US can visit a participating store and pick up a free code card for a Shiny Zamazenta.
This code only works with Pokemon Sword and, when redeemed in the game, will add the Shiny legendary to your collection. The Pokemon is level 100 and comes equipped with the Rusted Shield, which transforms it into its Crowned Shield form when it enters battle.
This is the second Shiny legendary Pokemon that GameStop has given away this month. The chain previously distributed Shiny Zacian codes for Pokemon Shield, as well, but that promotion ended on Nov. 11.
Once you’ve picked up a download code, you’ll need to follow these steps to receive your Pokemon in-game:
- Open Mystery Gift from the menu
- Select Receive a Gift
- Select Get with a code/password
- Connect online and input your code when prompted
- Save your game
Those aren’t the only free Pokemon that players can get soon. Everyone who purchases a copy of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl before Feb. 21 can receive a free Manaphy egg in their game. Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl launch for Nintendo Switch on Nov. 19, and the pair update the classic Pokemon Diamond and Pearl games with some welcome quality-of-life features.
After that, Pokemon Legends: Arceus will launch for Switch on Jan. 28. It, too, has a special bonus for early adopters. Everyone who picks up the game before May 9 can receive two free outfits for their player character: a Hisuian Growlithe kimono set and a Baneful Fox mask based on Hisuian Zoroark.
