Amazon PS5 restock prediction added to Argos and GAME stock events

New predictions have been made regarding when Amazon will be launching its next shipment of PS5 stock in 2021.

Gamers eager to try their luck at buying a new next-gen console have been told that both GAME and Argos will be dropping shipments this week.

GAME will be the next major retailer to offer a PS5 restock, which has now been confirmed for the morning of November 17.

There will be both single consoles to buy alongside more expensive bundles that include additional games and controllers.

This is expected to start in the morning on the GAME site between 8am, and 11am GMT on Wednesday.

Argos is another retailer expected to drop PS5 stock this week, and this could happen between November 17 and November 19.

And there is a slim chance of a third PS5 restock happening this week, this time being sourced by Amazon.

It should be noted that while both GAME and Argos are expected to happen, anything connected to Amazon remains a prediction.

The news has been shared by PS5 Stock UK – a reliable stock tracker account on Twitter – which is known for providing the best guides on what’s happening next.

The message posted on Twitter by PS5 Stock UK reads: “We have no information to rely on, this is a total prediction, however, Amazon hasn’t restocked PS5 consoles since 27/10, so, the chance of an Amazon drop tomorrow morning (8-9am) is likely.”

This latest report should be taken with a pinch of salt but even if nothing materialises later this week, there is a good chance of something happening before the end of the month.

The only downside is that any Amazon restock this month is expected to be Prime exclusive, meaning you will need a subscription to have any chance of buying a console.

Knowing when a PS5 restock is happening can be vital, but it’s also worth knowing how each retailer handles its shipments.

And here are a few examples of how best to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:

AMAZON UK: Amazon UK runs better under strain but still comes with a few kinks worth mentioning. Having an account set up with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wishlist before checking out.

ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and being unable to complete purchases when site traffic is high. Stock trackers suggest using the mobile Argos app and keeping an eye on local store listings. Argos is expected to drop new stock between November 18 and November 19.

GAME: GAME is a UK retailer that offers the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout, as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase. A new PlayStation 5 shipment is expected to hit shelves between November 17 and November 19.
