Dan Walker to exit Strictly after dance-off with Rhys Stephenson – here's the evidence

Dan Walker and Nadiya Bychkova were saved by the public last weekend after finding themselves at the bottom of the Strictly Come Dancing judges’ leaderboard. However, according to new elimination evidence, it seems he could find himself fighting for survival on Sunday with Rhys Stephenson and Nancy Xu.

For the third year in a row, digital marketing agency Mediaworks has been tracking how positively the Strictly contestants are being talked about on social media.

The agency uses this data to compare the celebrities and predict who will be eliminated each week.

From October 30 to November 11, three celebrities find themselves dangerously close together at the bottom of the sentiment chart.

Just 0.080 separates Tom Fletcher at the bottom from Dan and Rhys.

Ladbrokes have marked Dan and Sara Davies as joint-favourites to be eliminated on Sunday.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Dan and Sara are hanging onto their Strictly hopes by a thread, and despite being in the bottom two last weekend, it looks as though Tilly may well avoid elimination this time out, with punters convinced it’s a two-horse race for the boot.”

Meanwhile, John Whaite surges from the second bottom on November 8 to the top of the sentiment chart going into week eight.

Rose Ayling-Ellis, Sara and Tilly Ramsay follow closely behind the Great British Bake Off winner.
