‘Will survive on neglect!’ Houseplant expert shares care tips for spider plants in winter

At this time of year, a lot of houseplants go dormant which means their growth slows down.

If your spider plant appears to be doing this, there’s no need to panic, in fact, you should just leave it, according to houseplant expert Silver Spence.

The CEO of independent houseplant site Friends or Friends told Express.co.uk spider plants will “survive on neglect”.

Silver continued: “Give it as little attention as possible because depending on where you have it, it might be going through dormancy.
