Erika Jayne's life is in 'positive direction' as she moves on from divorce and embezzlement scandal

Erika Jayne insists her life is now ‘turning in a positive direction’ and encourages men to slide into her DMs following scandalous Tom Girardi split

Erika Jayne acknowledged that ‘life is good’ despite a looming divorce from her estranged husband Tom Girardi and a multi-million dollar embezzlement scandal.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was in high spirits as she chatted with her former co-star Teddi Mellencamp at the opening Kyle Richards’ Palm Desert store front on Monday night.

Erika, 50, told Mellencamp, who played the part of Extra’s Special Correspondent, that ‘everything is turning a positive direction’ now that season 11 finished filming and she can focus on herself once again.

‘It feels so good to have the season over … and just be on a much lighter path,’ Jayne said.

Teddi asked the question on everyone’s mind: ‘Every guy wants to know what’s going on?’

‘Slide into my DMs and you’ll find out,’ Erika teased.

And while Erika may have a little more time to date now that she’s been single for a year after filing for divorce from her husband of 21-years on Election Day in 2020, Teddi asked if she had plans to return to her first true love – the stage.

‘I hope so. I want to go perform,’ Erika said. ‘I want to go do things. The truth is that COVID has changed everything and it will be a reemerging.’

Jayne also admitted she’s making herself available to her friend, Dorit Kemsley, after a terrifying break-in at her Encino mansion where robbers held her at gunpoint while her children slept in their rooms.

‘I’m shocked at her strength and how she’s continued to show up,’ she said. ‘We know each other really well as a friend group, and to see one of us really just go through that kind of trauma really is heartbreaking.’

Sources close to Erika told TMZ last month that she insisted she had ‘zero clue’ what the 82-year-old Girardi was doing with his or her money and that all money she had earned went straight to him or his law firm, Girardi & Keese.

The insider added that Erika had faith that her now estranged husband would manage the assets appropriately while making sure all financial dealings were handled properly and that she actually never monitored the situation.

TMZ’s source went on to claim that all of her independent income including Housewives salary, paid appearances, sponsorship deals, etc. had went to her company EJ Global but Erika alleges that Tom had managed all money.

In September, Jayne was ‘ordered to turn over financial records’ from her accountant, lawyer and landlord in embezzlement lawsuit with Girardi.

The order comes as a bankruptcy trustee continues to investigate Girardi’s assets, amid claims that both Girardi and Jayne allegedly embezzled settlement funds that were meant to help the families of plane crash victims on Lion Air Flight 610.

However, according to legal documents obtained by People magazine, Jayne’s lawyers were already maintaining that the reality star ‘has been and remains willing to cooperate fully with the Trustee’s investigation in this bankruptcy of debtor Girardi & Keese.’

While Erika maintained that she was ‘kept away from the books,’ the trustee in a new lawsuit is mandating that even if that were to be the case ‘it would be a miscarriage of justice if [she] was allowed to simply walk completely free of owing over $25,000,000 to the Estate.’
