John Kerry was pursued around COP26 by GB News’s Tom Harwood as the climate envoy refused to answer questions on US blunders at the summit. On Monday, Joe Biden was caught by cameras looking rather sleepy as the Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Mottley spoke to delegates about her nations’ efforts to combat climate change. Washington Post journalist Zach Pursur Brown commentated the US President was “falling asleep” as Mr Biden was filmed closing his eyes during speeches.
Mr Harwood attempted to direct a string of questions to the US climate envoy, asking: “Mr Kerry is a six-car convoy leading by example?
“Mr Kerry is arriving by private jet leading by example?
“Mr Kerry is Joe Biden’s convoy leading by example?
The GB News presenter went on to grill Mr Kerry over the ‘sleepy Joe’ incident this week.

Mr Harwood asked him: “Do you promise to not fall asleep today?”
The former US presidential candidate continued to dodge the reporter’s questions.
“Mr Kerry is falling asleep but good luck to the President?” continued Mr Harwood.
“Does the US needs to be more open and more communicative? Mr Kerry is a six-car convoy….Mr. Kerry?”
It comes as Sky News host Niall Paterson mocked Joe Biden’s Treasury chief for struggling to pronounce Glasgow in a speech to COP26.
The Sky News presenter remarked: “Well, let’s cut away from Janet Yellen not entirely because of her pronunciation of Glasgow.”
Ms Yellen had repeatedly pronounced Glasgow as ‘Glas-cow’ in the course of her speech.
Seemingly unaware of the blunder, she said: “Glasgow and COP26 is a pivotal moment at the start of this decisive decade of climate action.
“The climate crisis is already here.
