Viewers have watched as Vi had to get her head around her grandson marrying a man and rubbed up a few of her neighbours the wrong way.
The matriarch also took a strong disliking to Stuart’s wife, Rainie Highway (Tanya Franks), when the grandmother discovered she was a former drug user.
However, in recent weeks, they’ve got closer as Rainie lost both her daughter and her new baby in the space of months.
It seems Vi has a strong maternal instinct, so fans will be interested to know why she gave up her secret child for adoption.
