'Sort that potty mouth out!' Kay Burley cuts off Insulate Britain protester in fiery clash

Insulate Britan campaigner Cameron Ford has found himself in hot water with Sky News presenter Kay Burley after using expletives during an awkward on-air exchange. The climate activist launched a fiery rant against the climate policy of Boris Johnson’s Conservative government and urged Britons to “out on the streets in civil resistance.” However, the spokesman’s colorful choice of words provoked the anger of Ms Burley who swiftly ended the interview.

Mr Ford told Sky News: “We’re going to tell the audience that the next three to four years will determine the future of humanity.

“If people really connect with what [climate scientist] Sir David King has said there, then they will be out on the streets in civil resistance themselves, and they will need to come together in civil resistance against the treason this government is committing the empty promises.

“We need to be in civil resistance to the fuel poverty in this country to then selling off the NHS to then spewing s*** in our rivers and to the greed and corruption of the government.

“We need to rise up and be in civil resistance.

“Because when COP fails, what else is there to do?”

Ms Burley replied: “Okay, can we see you’ve got me in trouble again, now by using other words that we’re not allowed to use at breakfast time.

“Hopefully, you will come back on again.

“And hopefully, you’ll sort that potty mouth out, thanks so much.”

“We would hope that it slows down anyway.

“We’ve had feedback that people are frustrated that they spent time in traffic queues.

“This is like a rolling traffic queue, so we’ll move, and once they get to the front they will be able to move on.

“We’re not planning to stop traffic but it could slow down to five miles an hour.”
