Emmerdale double arrest as Charity and Mackenzie are caught red-handed?

Charity Dingle (played by Emma Atkins) and Mackenzie “Mack” Boyd (Lawrence Robb) could find themselves getting in trouble with the law in upcoming scenes on the ITV soap. This week, the scheming duo decide to rob Chloe Harris’ (Jessie Elland) opulent family home. Although they are caught in the act by cleaner Kerry Wyatt (Lauren Norton) and told to hand over their ill-gotten gains, Mack manages to make off with an expensive watch. Will the pair both end up being arrested after being caught red-handed with the watch?

The dishonest duo have teamed up to partake in a host of dodgy dealing since Mack joined the village last year.

Since getting closer in recent weeks, the pair have come up with a plan to rob expensive items from newcomer Chloe’s family home.

When they arrive in the grand house outside of Emmerdale, Mack is taken aback by the opulence.

They quickly clear a display case of watches in the hopes of selling them for a wealth of cash, but they run into a cleaner.

Charity is stunned to realise the housekeeper is Kerry who fled Emmerdale last summer.

When Chloe comes home unexpectedly, Kerry covers for Charity and Mack as Charity asks to speak to Chloe’s mum or dad – but Chloe is awkward around the subject.

After Chloe leaves, Kerry warns Charity and Mack to not mention they have seen her and begs them to “stay away” in the future.

But before they make a dash for it, they are forced to hand over the stolen items they grabbed around the house.

Chloe’s dad has been described by Laura Norton, who plays Kerry, as a “very scary” man.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, Laura explained: “Kerry has been made aware, and obviously, she has gotten very close to his daughter Chloe.

“But she has been privy to conversations and knows exactly what he’s been involved in and even for Kerry, it’s been incredibly dark and something that she doesn’t want any part of.

“It’s scary stuff, really dark stuff and things that you wouldn’t want to be a part of.”

While Chloe’s father has not yet been cast in the soap, his presence is made known this week.

Laura added: “He’s got access to everything and has men working for him who see every move.

“There is CCTV in every room in the house and they are being watched and followed and they have to be incredibly careful.

“Kerry is worried this man will follow her back to the village. The worry of why and how Chloe knows Charity is another worry to Kerry as well.”

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV.
