A Place In The Sun presenter Lee feeling 'humiliated and hurt' after police pull him over

A Place In The Sun’s Lee Juggurnauth has called for change as he discussed racial profiling in his latest Instagram post. The property expert began by saying he was “apprehensive” about sharing his experience, but felt as though it had to be addressed.

The 34-year-old explained that he had excitedly bought a new car after working incredibly hard for it, but within 10 hours, he was pulled over by police officers. Lee said officers asked him who the car belonged to amongst other questions in a 30-minute time period.

“This isn’t the first time I have been pulled over for driving a nice car and I’m pretty sure it won’t be the last,” he penned.

The presenter said the experience was “simply a case of racial profiling which is extremely common against the black and Asian community”.

He added the moment left him feeling “extremely humiliated, hurt and intimidated”.
