Lynsey Crombie shares how to remove rust patches from radiators using 42p hack

Cleaning sensation Lynsey Crombie has shared more of her tips with Express.co.uk so homeowners can keep their homes looking clean and tidy. Lynsey, who is also known as the Queen of Clean on Instagram, is an advocate for affordable and natural cleaning products. She can often be seen using lemon juice, white vinegar and bicarbonate of soda to tackle even the most complex of cleaning tasks.

Tesco also sell an affordable version for 43p while Morrisons sell one for just 80p.

If your rust problem is worse than just a patch then there is another product you can use.

Lynsey said: “If your rust is really bad and it doesn’t work, there is a product on the market called Bar Keepers Friend.

“That is brilliant for rust removal.”

Lynsey said you can use the cheapest tomato sauce you can find to clean up any rust patches, it doesn’t have to be a specific type.

“The reason is works is because it’s got vinegar and acids in it,” Lynsey added.
