PS5 UK Stock: Amazon PlayStation 5 restock next after Argos and Very

This week has already seen Very drop PS5 stock online, and now it looks like more stores will follow.

The latest is that Argos could be ready to drop its next shipment of PS5 consoles later today, October 20.

But unlike in the past, things could be happening later in the day. A new post from PS5 Stock Alert UK on Twitter, Argos could drop its new shipment at around 8am BST.

This differs from the much earlier restocks of the past and should make it easier for more people to try and buy a console.

We don’t know how many PlayStation 5s will be available to buy, but there’s a good chance they will be split between local regions.

The same source has also suggested that Amazon could be offering more stock during October, although no solid date has been provided.

But the big thing to note here is that this prediction was shared alongside the idea that Very would drop stock this week, which happened a few hours after the message was shared.

The latest on the situation was shared by PS5 Stock Alert on Twitter, who posted: “Our internal sources still indicate a 20th October 8am drop for Argos, so that’s one to look out for this week.

“We have no information to confirm this but previous restock patterns indicate a possible drop this week for Amazon (20/10) & Very (19/10 or 20/10). Just a prediction.”

So while there is no guarantee that a PS5 restock will arrive from Amazon this week, it’s still worth tracking what happens next at the internet giant.

Knowing when a PS5 restock is happening can be vital, but it’s also worth knowing how each retailer handles its shipments.

And here are a few examples of how best to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:

ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and being unable to complete purchases when site traffic is high. Stock trackers suggest using the mobile Argos app and keeping an eye on local store listings. The next PS5 restock is expected to happen on October 20.

GAME: GAME is a UK retailer that offers the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout, as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase.

AMAZON UK: Amazon UK runs better under strain but still comes with a few kinks worth mentioning. Having an account set up with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wishlist before checking out. An Amazon PS5 stock drop has been predicted for October, without any solid dates attached.

The PlayStation 5 remains in high demand as Sony continues to score sales success around the world.

However, much like other tech items, supply chain issues have slowed down how many consoles can be sold, and these issues aren’t expected to end during 2021.
