Bill Turnbull warns ex-BBC Breakfast co-star Carol Kirkwood over 'taking things too far'

Bill Turnbull, 65, has aimed a jibe at his former BBC Breakfast co-star Carol Kirkwood after she shared a festive picture on Twitter. In view of her 212,000 followers, Carol uploaded a picture of Christmas lights decorating the streets of London two months before the festive occasion.

She captioned the image: “Regent Street in London this morning @BBCBreakfast xxx.”

However, Bill seemed less than impressed with his pal Carol’s desire to celebrate Christmas in October.

Bill responded to the tweet: “I know you’ve got a book out, hun, but this is taking things a bit far xx.”

He was referencing ‘Under A Greek Moon’, Carol’s debut novel, which came out in July.

Bunular typed: “Good luck, Bill. My Dad has been kept alive for 2 years with weekly transfusions.

“People who donate are truly wonderful xx.”

John Horne added: “Good luck Bill with your Blood Transfusion.

“That is so kind of someone to do that for you, just shows there are very kind thoughtful people out there.

“A speedy recovery Bill,” they concluded.
