Bert Chapman – Dave Hill
The village cricket game will be at the centre of this week’s fifth episode and each team needs a leader, with Mr Chapman leading Darrowby to success.
He might not be involved in the love drama unravelling on the sidelines but he will hope to get the village to beat their opponents.
Mr Chapman is played by actor Dave Hill, who is known for his role as Bert Atkinson in EastEnders.
He also played Alan in The Full Monty, just one of his many film and TV credits.
Henry Dinsdale – Mark Noble
Henry has made a few appearances on the show since season one and he returns once again in episode five as the leader of the opposing cricket team.
With his, ‘I don’t take no as an answer’ attitude, he will be hoping to crush Mr Chapman’s team in the game.
The character is played by British actor, Mark Noble, who has had some high profile roles during his career, including playing characters in Emmerdale, The Bill, Coronation Street and The Borgias.
He has lent his voice to video games as well, so viewers might recognise his vocals from Assassins Creed Valhalla and Tory: A Total War Saga.
