Strictly's Dan Walker wants 'inspiring' rival to win the show: 'Give the Glitterball now'

Dan Walker, 44, has thought about who will win this year’s Glitterball Trophy and he wants it to go to Rose Ayling Ellis, 26. The EastEnders actress is the first deaf person ever to compete on the popular dancing show.

The BBC Breakfast presenter has tipped the actress to win this year’s show due to what she is doing for the show.

The Mirror has reported that Dan believes Rose should win after her “magical” foxtrot on Saturday.

He said: “I know I’m in it but I would give Rose Ayling-Ellis the Glitterball now.

“I voted for her, she’s amazing.”
