‘Doctor Who’ Season 13: Teaser Released For Jodie Whittaker’s Final Installment

BBC America has confirmed that Season 13 of its iconic sci-fi series Doctor Who will be returning on Halloween 2021 (October 31) as a holiday treat for fans. The show has released its first teaser trailer for Jodie Whittaker‘s final installment in the popular lead role.

Whittaker is the first female Doctor in the show’s history and showrunner Chris Chibnall will be leaving the show with her to be replaced by returning showrunner Russell T. Davies.

The series was given a new title for the forthcoming season, Doctor Who: Flux, to echo the Doctor’s sentiment in the clip that “the flux is coming.” The season will consist of eight total episodes, each of which will be connected to a larger story.

The new season will find The Doctor and Yaz (Mandip Gill) encountering plenty of new villains and two new good guys. One of them will be Game of Thrones’ actor Jacob Anderson, who will play futuristic colleague Vinder.
