Britney Spear got a special present on Friday when her fiancé Sam Asghari added a new canine member to their family.
The 39-year-old pop superstar filmed a grinning Sam, 27, in a short Instagram video as he introduced her to their adorable puppy Porsha, whom he said would love Britney ‘unconditionally’ and ‘protect’ her from anyone with ‘bad intentions.’
The singer added another dog to her family less than two months after her other two dogs were returned to her after her former housekeeper initially took them away out of fears that they were ‘malnourished.’

In his post, Sam put the lustrous black-and-brown pooch front and center as she got used to her new home.
‘Surprised my fiancé [sic] with our newest member to the Family ❤️ Porsha,’ he wrote, adding the hashtags, ‘#doberman’ and ‘#homesecurity.’
He also shared a sweet closeup of the dog placing her little paw in his palm.
Sam looked as if he was dressed for a workout in a video including in the post in which he introduced Britney to the pup.

He held the little Doberman aloft and petted her while she looked around peacefully.

A follow-up video Sam posted to his Insta Stories showed Porsha looking noble against the gorgeous mountains surrounding Britney’s 21-acre Thousand Oaks estate.
The Black Monday made a quick kissing sound to get the dog’s attention.
She looked deeply into his eyes as he started to make howling sounds, presumably to egg her on into returning the call.
But Porsha didn’t seem to be in the mood to play along, so she started at him blankly as he continued to howl on his own, before she started looking side to side.

The housekeeper reportedly believed the dogs were near death after they allegedly suffered serious nutritional problems, sources told TMZ back in August.
The insiders said the housekeeper became concerned because the dogs were supposed to be fed special food due to their dietary issues, but they regularly saw them being fed table scraps, though it’s unclear if Britney was the one allegedly feeding them leftovers.
The housekeeper also claimed to the sources that the dogs had been suffering from dehydration before she decided to take them to a veterinarian.
One source told the publication that the vet was concerned about the dogs’ condition, seemingly bolstering the housekeeper’s account.
Once the pooches were ready to be released, Britney’s dog sitter reportedly decided to keep them instead of returning them to the singer in order to ensure their safety.

After the housekeeper had taken the dogs, sources told TMZ that Britney had confronted her and allegedly slapped the housekeeper’s cell phone out of her hand during an argument.
The argument reportedly started after the Toxic singer became convinced that her housekeeper had been sending photos of the dogs to her father Jamie Spears, who at the time was still in place as her conservator.
Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the house, but no charges were ultimately filed against Britney.
After two weeks, the animals were returned to her care by the dog sitter, who reportedly still works for Britney, though her housekeeper no longer works for her.
Although it was never confirmed whether the pop star’s suspicions that her father was being kept abreast of the dogs’ condition were accurate, Jamie is reported to have been surveilling his daughter for years.
Last month, an employee at a security firm that worked for the conservator claimed in the New York Times documentary Controlling Britney Spears that Jamie was aware of his daughter’s every move via a recorder allegedly installed in her bedroom and a mirroring setup that recorded all activity from her phone.
