Moment thieves crash stolen car through Oklahoma tech store, make off with $15,000 worth of products

Shocking surveillance video captured a group of thieves as they crashed their car through the glass doors of an Oklahoma cellphone shop before making off with $15,000 worth of electronics and doing nearly $50,000 worth of damage.

The incident occurred around 5.16 am on Wednesday morning at Twister Wireless near 41st Street and Sheridan Road in Tulsa, according to authorities.

Bobby Patel, the general manager of the store, told Fox 23 that the thieves made off with $15,000 worth of iPhones and other electronics.

Video of the brazen robbery was posted to Twitter by ABC News on Wednesday, showing the suspects driving an older model gold sedan directly into the store’s glass doors, before entering the store’s checkerboard floor room and ransacking the place.

The driver of the vehicle appears to have left the car in drive, as it continues to roll towards him while he frantically stuffs electronics into a black bag.

The video then shows three other accomplices follow suit as they steal everything they can get their hands on.

The four suspects can then be seen running from the store, while leaving the car inside for the manager to find the next morning.

Estimated damages to the store are around $50,000, according to Fox 23.

Patel added that they group had tried to break into the store earlier that same night, and used the car as a battering ram to enter the premises after they initially couldn’t get in.

The general manager said that the damage done to the store will be difficult to recover from, while adding that this is not the first time the shop’s been burgled.

‘That’s the sad part,’ Patel told News on 6.

‘It’s the second morning I’ve had to run to the store at 4 o’clock in the morning. I work hard here. Seven days a week. Open to close. Last few days I’m working here from 4 am to 9 pm.’
