Craig mirrored his suave character James Bond in a stylish light grey suit with a black tie and shiny black dress shoes.

The actor was honored first by Broccoli and Wilson, who cast him as 007 in the 2006 film Casino Royale.

Wilson revealed how charitable Craig is, aside from his obvious on-screen talent, adding he is, ‘more than qualified’ for this esteemed honor.

‘This star on Hollywood Boulevard is a fitting cap to your amazing run as Bond,  ‘Wilson said.

He also thanked Craig for being a ‘wonderful partner and friend’ before turning the mic over to Craig’s co-star, Rami Malek.

Malek plays the nefarious Lyutsifer Safin in No Time to Die, stating he was, ‘so proud to be here celebrating Daniel Craig’s star on the Walk of Fame.’

‘It’s a privilege to work with him, to watch him, and especially impactful to play opposite his most iconic James Bond in his last venture,’ Malek said.

Craig had confirmed long before production began that this film, the 25th in the storied Bond franchise, will be his last, capping a run that includes Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre and No Time To Die.

Malek added that while Craig is, ‘very generous with his time, he’s also a big fan of brevity, so in your honor I promised to make this quick.’

He went on to tell a story about his first day on the set and he saw him coming but he ducked out of the way because he wanted to meet him in full costume… and he peeked out and saw he was still there.

‘No, it was not my coolest moment,’ Malek admitted, adding that Craig, ‘moves like a cheetah,’ and he grabbed him by the shoulders and said, ‘It’s gonna be OK.’

He joked that he could handle all of his own stunts, ‘with one arm tied behind his back and the other holding a Negroni.’

Malek added he has ’empathy for everyone around him,’ and he can balance his talent and responsibility with ‘warmth and awareness for what those around him need,’ adding he doesn’t need to ‘turn one off to do the other.’

He told a story about how they had to go to the soundstage for a scene, and he recalled how ‘laser-focused’ he was on the script, his eyes just inches from the script.

‘The dedication he applied to every scene, every moment of this experience, on screen and off, is something I will never soon forget,’ Malek said.

Craig then took to the stage to thank the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, along with his studio partners and his team.

He then thanked the producers who cast him as James Bond, Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, ‘from the depths of my heart,’ adding, ‘without you, I would not be here today.’

‘I never thought I’d hear myself say this, but you know, it’s an absolute honor to be walked all over in Hollywood.

‘If happiness is measured by the company you keep,’ then him surrounded by all of these, ‘Hollywood legends, makes me a very happy man. Thank you very much,’ Craig concluded.
