Coronation Street character Daisy Midgeley (played by Charlotte Jordan) hasn’t had the best reputation when it comes to love. Last month she tore apart Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) and Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) after plying Ryan with alcohol and tricking him into sharing a bed with her. She has also recently suffered the embarrassment of Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) turning her down for a date. However, could Daisy be setting her sights on someone else, or will she continue to pursue Daniel?
In upcoming scenes, landlady Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) acts as matchmaker and decides to help with Daisy’s love life.
After being left amused by Daisy’s outrage at Daniel turning her down for a date, Jenny tells her she thought they weren’t suited for one another anyway.
Soon, a handsome stranger enters the pub, which Jenny believes is her chance to play cupid and gets Daisy to serve him.
Jenny soon starts up a conversation with the man named Leo, hoping to keep Daisy’s interest and get the two talking.

Leo reveals he’s working on the sinkhole at number eight and will be around the cobbles for a while, leaving Jenny feeling pleased with the revelation.
Leo calls into the Rovers, where Jenny is convinced Leo fancies Daisy and soon urges her to have a chat with him to get to know him.
Annoyed at Jenny’s obsession over her love life, Daisy reluctantly joins the pair after inviting him to taste some sample beer for the singles’ night she wants to organise.
However, the date doesn’t last long as Daisy makes it clear she isn’t interested in him and makes excuses to head off to bed, leaving Jenny frustrated.
“He jumped in very quickly with Nicky Wheatley (Kimberly Hart-Simpson), he jumped in very quickly with Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon).
“And to some extent with Sinead Osbourne (Katie McGlynn), he was set up to go to Oxford when he met her, so he doesn’t want to do that again,” he explained.
“His life could have been very different if he hadn’t stuck around with Sinead, which I think is one of the reasons why he chooses to help Summer over Max, he sees that he can help Summer escape Weatherfield.
“I don’t think he regrets any of the choices he made but looking back, he knows his life could have been very different had he made a different choice there,” he added.
