Coronation Street star Alexandra Mardell flaunts toned bikini body in stunning holiday pic

Alexandra Mardell, 28, playfully suggested that she was doing “holiday homework” while holding a colour-coded folder in one hand and a bottle of lager in the other. The Coronation Street regular sported a glamorous bikini from clothing company Pour Moi.

In the picture, Alex appeared to be posing high up on a hill with a backdrop of blue skies and a beautiful shining sea behind her.

The soap star can be seen rocking a black halter neck bikini top with sheer panelling, flattering high-waisted black bikini bottoms, delicate hoop earrings, and big sunglasses.

The beer she was holding in one hand is from the popular Portuguese brand Super Bock.

Alex captioned the post: “Holiday homework isn’t too bad,” and tagged Pour Moi – a brand specialising in lingerie, which has racked up over 142k followers on Instagram.

Alex has been enjoying her travels abroad lately and was first pictured in Madeira, Portugal last Sunday lounging luxuriously in a yellow dress while sipping on a glass of red wine.

The star also posted cute pics of her trip to Dublin last week with fiance Joe Parker, where she was pictured proudly holding a pint of Guinness with her face perfectly rendered in the foam.

Alex got engaged to the Northern actor, who has 3,529 followers himself, in April after the pair moved in together at the start of last year.

Joe told OK! Magazine that he originally planned to propose in Paris, but with Covid restrictions spoiling travel plans, he decided to get down on one knee in their kitchen.

When the couple were asked whether kids were on the cards, Alex replied: “We definitely want to have a family, but we’ll wait a bit longer before having any kids.”

Alex joined Coronation Street in 2018, when she walked onto the cobbles as Emma Brooker, the daughter of Steve McDonald (played by Simon Gregson) and Fiona Middleton (played by Angela Griffin).

The character originally arrived to work as an apprentice hairdresser at Audrey’s salon, but at the time, she had no idea that she was living a stone’s throw away from her biological father.

Emma’s mother had raised her to believe that John Brooker (played by Noel White) was her dad, but the truth was revealed to her in 2019 in an emotional twist that saw John tell his would-be daughter the jaw-dropping news on his deathbed.
